Kinlaw: “Sun Hazif”.

Not much information on this one but damn this is one hell of a track. Hamish Trevis hails from Bristol, and there’s definitely some of the city’s groundbreaking bass music scene to be found in his work as Kinlaw. “Sun Hazif” is just staggering, a very sophisticated arrangement built around hauntingly distorted and extensively reverberated vocal samples, with a sudden, terrific alteration around the one minute mark and a heavy breakbeat setting in after two. Breathtaking.
