Casino Gardens: “Bedroom Racetrack”.

Our pals from down under at Rose Quartz kindly reminded us this morning that we wanted to prepare a little piece about Casino Gardens, the project of Columbus, Ohio native Byron Ferrari who we had introduced to our esteemed readership back in November (hence last century in internet time) when he was still recording under his Young Heat moniker. Anyway, a few weeks ago he sent over a few new tracks and announced his name change, along with the notification of a forthcoming release sometime soon. So, that particular thing has arrived now. The eleven track self-titled digital album is available over here and still sounds slightly like Matt Mondanile used to sound before he started sounding more like his band, and with summer ahead that is just the music we’ve been waiting for to take with us to the nearest park.
