Granit: “Aresta”.

This one’s spreading really fast, and rightly so – of course everything here screams (it has been mentioned elsewhere) “Beach House” or “Boy Friend”, but whatever the inspiration, the two Barcelonian girls Alba and Cristina aka Granit deliver an honestly beautiful dream-pop gem, and not least the fact that they sing in Catalan naturally sets them apart from their US contemporaries.

The duo will release their debut 10 inch this January, and a split single with the wonderful Ex-Pocahaunted member Diva will follow a little later. Very nice.
