Video Premiere: I†† / Skitter split.

Winter is coming, and darkness is upon us. While anno domini 2011 is breathing its last breaths, UK imprint Clan Destine is unleashing its gloomiest and most threatening release in awhile (and that really says something here) with a split cassette between Richmond, Kentucky’s evil propagations of I†† (Informational Terrorism Transmissions) and Glasgow’s Skitter. While the a-side comprises eight pitch-black tracks with names that naturally feature a lot of symbols and numbers, the flipside contains one single 30-minute track of menacing drone and noise.
Below, get a first, bitter yet intriguing taste of sheer relentlessness with the videos for I††’s “C ø † † ø N”, shot by Cassandra Eujean Lewis, featuring effects by Rocky Borders and acting by Hannah Mason Egger, and for an edit of Skitter’s “Protest/Checks”, brilliantly visualized by the artist together with Ela Orleans.
The I†† / Skitter split tape is out now on Clan Destine Records. Edition of 75.
