Absolutely devastated and put into a very serious state of pre-holidays anxiety right now by this newly mixed version of Dirty Beaches‘ “Golden Blonde”, which originally appeared on Alex Zhang Hungtai’s first album under that moniker, Old Blood, released 2007 via Fixture Records.
Alex himself has pointed to this gorgeous Yours Truly video of him performing the song in San Francisco earlier this year. Had already forgotten about this gem:
