Seriously, so good to have MJ MJ Records back in business – this week, the dudes over at the Los Angeles boutique imprint, that had faced impending demise earlier this year after the owners had been robbed, dropped yet another amazing cassette, Catamaran‘s self-titled debut effort. Catamaran is an incredibly talented young producer from NYC whose tight beats are equally laid-back and frantic, nicely blending lush dream pop elements and dancefloor-ready rhythm sections, as showcased on our favorite track “Land Jewel”.
