Beyond: “Untitled V”.

Those of you who follow this blog will be aware of two things, first: We absolutely love what the guys over at Minneapolis-based label Moon Glyph are doing (as far as we know it’s actually basically only one guy, the man himself Steve Rosborough), and second: Moon Glyph has had an absolutely outstanding year, with a steady flow of amazing releases on tape and vinyl. No Man Moves marks the imprint’s last release for 2011, and it’s just another stellar missive, six untitled synth disruptions by Chicago’s J. Shaver of NFOP favorites Deep Earth. Expansive arrangements that keep lingering between splendid contemplation and the dance floor, every track on the cassette is truly unique, not far from the Chicago school of 80s-induced synth music of which his other project is one of the leading proponents yet undoubtedly a work that deserves to stand on its own. Recommended.
Order No Man Moves now over here.
