Back in June, we’d already reported on Yod, the incredible five-track EP by Gross Bite, the inter-continental collaboration comprising Paris-based project kikiilimikilii (whose very worthwhile EP Lumens we’d featured in April) and Boulder, Colorado drone and noise experimentalist Nathan Wheeler. The result of the trans-Atlantic exchange of ideas is a percussion-focused, noise-heavy masterpiece of aural art, thus something that couldn’t for long slip the attention of Deep Tapes CEO Alex Gray, who now has stepped up to put out the overdue cassette release of said EP.

You’ve already heard “Ruby”, so here’s another excellent track, “Gold Lemurian, Mvt 1″. Highly recommended.
