It’s only July but I think it’s already fairly safe to say that in 2011, Tri Angle Records has taken over the top spot as most influential independent label from Olde English Spelling Bee – perhaps alongside Hippos In Tanks. What Wiwant is another track taken from the San Francisco duo Water Borders‘ forthcoming full-length Harbored Mantras, due October 10. The track’s dark and woozy electronics perfectly show how seamlessly Water Borders fit into our much adored Tri Angle roster.
