Lama: “Flashes”.

The Norwegian art rock outfit Lama have put away the once heavy guitars and seemingly brought in the microphone for good, resulting in a relatively different, but refreshing new sound to the Oslo based six-piece. As they so honestly admit themselves, it is not the first time Lama is renewing their sound — having been through periods of post-rock, electronica and jazz, however always to find themselves going back to that shoegazy, Mew inspired sound in the end. We’ve had a little pre-listen to the album (which is due to September 30th at Spoon Train), and can already assure that you will love it.

Mathias Stubø, better known as Proviant Audio also had his own little touch on the single Flashes, which you can listen to below or snatch for free at Spoon Train’s blog.
