Totally being on a serious new wave trip since this brand new Hausu gem dropped into my inbox sometime this week, another raw and rather dark-ish tune as usual mainly thanks to the vocalist’s deep crooning that is, I know I’ve mentioned that before, almost creepy in its perfect Ian Curtis resemblance. Though I don’t agree, I kinda dig that the Seattle Times referred to this as “power pop”.
Makiadi will appear on the Portland-based outfit’s forthcoming self-titled three-track 7 inch that’s gonna drop sometime soon via our dearest Portuguese boutique imprint LebensStrasse Records.
