Your Children Is Beautiful: “Lightning Bug”.

Philadelphia-based outfit Your Children Is Beautiful recently caught me off guard with this splendidly lo-fi guitar jam named Lightning Bug that at times has an almost classic indie pop feel to it but that all in all still remains comfortably leftfield with its deliberately raw, half-baked charme. Has had some rather heavy rotation here as of late.
Though there wasn’t much else we could find out about this band, rumor has it that there’s gonna be a full-length named Die Cool sometime soon. We’ll keep you posted.
