Riding some seriously chill waves here tonight on this distinctly laid-back lo-fi tune by Nebraska native Jake Hansen aka Cushion featuring the vocals of Nevada City, California’s Golden Ego. Sure this ain’t chillwave and we’re glad about it, but nonetheless we got some honestly childhood memory-evoking piece of sonic art wrapped around our cerebrum right now, which in fact might be the result of the combination of The Oceanographer with this strangely apt racetrack video by Manchester’s Dean Jagger. We don’t know, but we think we’ll go for another spin.
