Without making a fuss of it, the incredible folks over at Tokyo, Japan’s Cuz Me Pain label have managed to establish a pretty decent profile that gathers some of the most interesting contemporary electronic experimentalism. Alongside the amazing Nites – who we had on our pages before – the rather closemouthed artist collective includes such rad musicians like Faron Square, AAPS (who played live with Ducktails on Mondanile’s Japan tour this year), and Yosuke Tsuchida aka :visited. Check out some of their tracks below, this is all very exciting, laid back yet mildly danceable and subtly lo-fi infused electronica, I seriously haven’t come across something so well crafted and original in quite a while. I fear it is rather tough to get your hands on one of their physical releases if you’re not in Japan, but it would for sure be worth a try.
