Yesterday, Drew from my absolute favourite Kansas cassette label Solid Melts kindly notified me of his uber-rad season kick-off comp An Empire of Fun, available as a free download.
Among the featured artists on the overall exciting lineup are CVLTS, Julian Lynch, Cloud Nothings, Vehicle Blues, and Katrina Stonehart, to name but a few. Almost 90 minutes of fuzzy and experimental lo-fi goodness, there’s no way to miss this one.
