After last year’s critically acclaimed album Still Night, Still Light, Brooklyn’s synth pop girl trio Au Revoir Simone are going to put out another remix album, Night Light, to be released on July 5 via Moshi Moshi.

With the likes of Neon Indian, Dam Mantle, but also Your Twenties and Jens Lekman, we’re gonna encounter the inevitable as well as rather surprising artists to musically reinterpret the ladies’ lush songs.

Among the pleasant surprises is a rework of Only You Can Make You Happy by amazing Dirty Projectors‘ singer Angel Deradoorian, and on the other end of the spectrum we find (as the album’s bonus track) a pretty foreseeable contribution by Belgian neo-Italo Disco duo Aeroplane, who have worked together with Au Revoir Simone before for their remix of Friendly Fires‘ Paris, arguably one of the best dance tracks of the last couple of years.
